What makes a hook work?
You have about 2 seconds. These 4 things decide if people stay.
Short
Under 12 words. If you need a breath to say it, it is too long.
Specific
"3 mistakes" beats "some mistakes". Numbers, names and places pull people in.
Seen and heard
Say the hook out loud and put it on screen as text. Many people watch with the sound off.
Kept
The video must pay off the hook. A hook that lies gets the swipe and hurts the next post.
